Internship Project: Amani Tower

Amani Tower is a 168m/36-floor office tower in Maynila, Philippines. During my internship at SOM, I, along with two other colleagues, was responsible for the design development phase under the directing of the studio head. The biggest challenge was collaborating with the local architect of record, as well as lighting, safety, vertical transport, and LEED consultants. 

To ensure the smooth progress of the project for this small team, we implemented a system of daily internal meetings and weekly meetings with local partners. This allowed us to internally address some issues on a daily basis, while accumulating the remaining ones to a suitable amount to be resolved during the weekly meetings with local consultants. The very few issues that couldn't be immediately resolved during these meetings were followed up by the local consultants during the week for a solution.

为了确保这个小团队的项目顺利进行，我们实施了每日内部会议和每周与当地合作伙伴举行会议的制度。这使我们能够每天在内部解决一些问题，同时将剩余的问题累积到适当的数量，以便在与当地顾问的每周会议上解决。在这些会议上无法立即解决的极少数问题在本周内由当地顾问跟进解决方案。
